It was only once I realised we would be likely leaving Londonthat it dawned on me. I have spent seven and a half years living in London, 4 of them in Central and there are still so many things that I haven’t done!
In honour of International Ballet Day, I figure there’s no better time to write about our experiences at Little K’s babyballet classes. The morning of her first class I was so excited. As a former dancer, I couldn’t wait to see my little angel in a pretty dress, spinning and prancing like a fairy… Oh, I was so wrong!
Isn’t it funny how your priorities change as you get older? Once, my birthday would have been spent on a pub crawl, or dancing the night away in a crowded club… How did I spend my birthday this year? I went to the Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic exhibition at the V&A Museum.
It’s my birthday! 29 today and I don’t feel a day over 28… I’m not usually one for birthdays, but with my next birthday being 30; it has made me realise how fast time really is flying! When I was 25 I wrote a 30 before 30 list. I can’t seem to find it, but I know for a fact that I have not completed even half of the entries. When I became a mummy I slowed down on ticking things off my list, as I was too busy concentrating on her lists (changing, feeding, development, experiences, weaning… it’s never ending). So, with one year left, I figured it was time to re-evaluate this list and see what I can do in the next year.
