As previously mentioned my husband is in the army and it is very likely that we will have a new posting at some point this year. It was only once this was confirmed I realised that I have spent seven and a half years living in London, 4 of them in Central and there are still so many things that I haven’t done!
So, for the lover of lists that I am, there was only one option…
We have done many of the obvious (read: more touristy) options so here is my London bucket list:
- Postman’s Park
- St Dunstan’s in the East
- Regent’s Park/Regent’s Canal/Little Italy
- Horniman Museum
- Hampstead Heath and Pergola Gardens
- Kyoto Gardens
- Portobello Road
- Urban Meadow Café
- Magic Carpet Storytelling at the National Portrait Gallery
- Bach to Baby concert
- Primrose Hill
- Vauxhall Park Lavendar Garden
- London Zoo with Little K
- Tea House Theatre, Vauxhall
- Kensington Palace and Gardens
- Notting Hill
- Chelsea (streets, mews etc)
- British Museum
- Neals Yard
- Churchill War Rooms
- National Army Museum
- Kew Gardens
We estimate we have around nineteen weeks left in London, dates and location of the move are still to be confirmed, so I that’s over one a week to conquer.. I better get going! I’ll let you know how I get on, and what I would recommend.
What would be on your list?
